Graduate Researchers Award

The Graduate Researchers Award is a prize offered by the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) for Master’s and Doctoral students. The competition recognises originality and innovation in biodiversity informatics, based on the use and analysis of GBIF-published data and the impact on biodiversity conservation. Candidates are nominated by their national GBIF nodes, with Portugal-specific eligibility for nominees who are Portuguese nationals or enrolled at a Portuguese institution.
