Excellent Paper in Neuroscience Award EPNA – Biomedical 2025 and EPNA – ELSA 2025

The Excellent Paper in Neuroscience Award (EPNA) – Biomedical 2025 and EPNA – ELSA 2025 are competitions promoted by ERA-NET NEURON to distinguish notable early-career scientific publications in neuroscience. Eligible articles are original works published within specified periods, with a single first author affiliated to one of the partner countries. The best proposal from each contest receives a prize of 3,000 euros and winners are invited to present as special speakers at a future scientific forum, with travel and accommodation costs covered by ERA-NET NEURON.

Prize money (3,000 euros); invitation to present as a special speaker at a scientific forum (FENS Forum 2026 or another suitable event); travel and accommodation costs covered by ERA-NET NEURON.

Early-career researchers from eligible partner countries, with a single first author affiliated to a partner country, and the first author is unique for the submission.

Submit proposals by email to the ERA-NET NEURON Secretariat with required documents as specified in the EPNA Biomedical 2025 and EPNA – ELSA 2025 calls.
