NextWave Leadership Program 2025 for Emerging Leaders

NextWave Leadership Program is Canary Impact’s youth-focused initiative designed to support justice-involved leaders aged 18-25. It provides mentorship, leadership training, and a financial award to help participants develop advocacy and community initiatives. The program includes a structured curriculum, mentorship from experienced leaders, and a network of peers to support long-term impact.

Financial award of $10,000 per participant, comprehensive leadership development, cohort connection with peers, and mentorship to build long-term leadership and advocacy capacity.

Applicants must be aged 18 to 25, have a history of incarceration, reside in the U.S., have an innovative idea for systemic change, and propose work focusing on U.S. communities with no lobbying activities.
