Indian Space Science Olympiad 2026

The Indian Space Science Olympiad (ISSO) 2026 is a national-level, two-stage competition in space science and astronomy for school students in India. It tests knowledge across astronomy & astrophysics, space missions, satellite communication, rocketry and planetary science, combining an online national screening exam with an advanced final round and a 3-day offline workshop. Top performers receive certificates, medals, mentorship and access to exclusive workshops and live sessions with experts. Winners receive a Newtonian reflector mirror telescope as a grand prize.

Open to students from Class 5 to Class 12 across India.

Register for the Preliminary Level (paid); participate in Stage I online national screening; top performers qualify for Stage II offline national final and 3-day workshop.
