Faculty of Medicine Honours Scholarships Term 3, 2026

The Faculty of Medicine Honours Scholarships Term 3, 2026 is a suite of merit-based scholarships to encourage high-quality candidates in undergraduate Medicine and Science programs to undertake an Independent Learning Project (ILP) or Honours project commencing in 2026. Individual named scholarships within the program provide monetary awards for one year and have specific eligibility and selection criteria. Applicants must submit an online application and provide supporting documentation to be considered. UNSW reserves the right not to award a scholarship if no applicant of sufficient merit is identified.

$10,000 (1 year) and $5,000 (1 year) monetary scholarship awards for successful recipients, depending on the specific named scholarship.

Applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate Medicine and/or Science programs at UNSW and undertaking an ILP or Honours year commencing in 2026. Specific scholarships have additional criteria (for example, Indigenous Australian identity for the Yarranabbe Foundation - ANZEF Indigenous Award in Ophthalmology; citizenship/permanent residency or NZ citizenship for some awards).
