FAO Young Professionals Programme 2026

The FAO Young Professionals Programme (YPP) 2026 is a two-year, fully funded professional appointment for new graduates to gain experience in FAO’s work across topics such as food security, agriculture, climate change, and rural development. Selected candidates become Young Professional Officers (YPOs) at the P-1 level and work in multi-country settings within FAO’s mandate, contributing to programmes and projects in various areas.

Applicants must be 32 years old or younger at the time of application, hold an advanced university degree relevant to FAO’s work, and have at least one year of relevant professional experience.
