The UNESCO Communication and Information Sector internship is a practical work experience programme for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on exposure in information, media, research, and digital transformation at UNESCO locations worldwide. The internship lasts 1-6 months and is open to individuals in bachelor, master, or PhD programs, or those who graduated within the past 12 months, in fields related to UNESCO’s work. Benefits include practical project experience, data collection and analysis, and support in preparing knowledge products, with travel and visa costs borne by interns.

Hands-on work experience at UNESCO, exposure to real projects, skill development in communication, writing, and project management; 2.5 days of leave per month.
