UNU-WIDER Visiting Scholars Programme 2027 for PhD Scholars

The UNU-WIDER Visiting Scholars Programme is a funded research opportunity for qualified scholars to conduct and present development- and global economics–related research during a 2-3 month stay at UNU-WIDER in Helsinki, Finland. Visiting scholars typically produce one or more papers for the WIDER working paper series and present a seminar in their field of research. The programme supports research activity with a monthly stipend and medical insurance, plus potential travel cost support above a specified threshold.
