ACU Early Career Conference Grants 2026-2027

The ACU Early Career Conference Grants support emerging researchers and their employing universities to attend in-person conferences in Commonwealth countries outside the institution's country of work. Seven grants are available, each up to GBP 2,000, to cover conference registration, flights, accommodation, visa costs, and travel and health insurance. Applicants must be early career researchers at an ACU member university and intend to attend a Commonwealth conference between February 2027 and January 2028, with an active role such as chairing a session, presenting a paper, or presenting a poster.

Funding to attend and participate in in-person conferences in Commonwealth countries outside the researcher’s country of work.

Applicants must be an early career researcher/academic at an ACU member university, within 7 years of the start of their academic career, and plan to attend a Commonwealth conference between February 2027 and January 2028, where they will chair a session, present a paper, or present a poster.
