Enabling Capable Citizens 2027

Enabling Capable Citizens 2027 is a grant programme run by Villum Fonden to address challenges faced by vulnerable young people in European societies undergoing environmental and social change. It supports projects that help ensure young people at risk of exclusion can access education, skills, employment and civic participation. Projects are typically large-scale and cross‑country within the specified geographic scope.

Project funding (typically budgets above EUR 500,000); part of a total call budget of EUR 5.3 million.

Eligible applicants are schools, educational institutions, civil society organisations, local innovators and public authorities. Private individuals and for-profit activities are not eligible. Applications must be submitted in English and project managers must be able to communicate in English.
