İTÜ Merit Award

The İTÜ Merit Award is a merit-based scholarship awarded by Istanbul Technical University to outstanding newly admitted undergraduate students. It supports students who rank among the top 1000 candidates in national or international entrance exams and who place İTÜ as their first choice. The scholarship is granted for up to five years, including a preparatory English year where required, subject to maintaining the required academic performance. Benefits include a monthly allowance, computing equipment, subsidised or free housing and meal support.

Monthly stipend (3,000–5,000 TL), computing device (laptop or tablet), free or subsidised dormitory housing, free meals for nine months per year.

Newly admitted undergraduate students who ranked among the top 1000 candidates in national or international entrance exams, have placed Istanbul Technical University as their first choice, and who maintain a minimum annual GPA of 3.00/4.00 to retain the scholarship.

Eligibility is verified on İTÜ's official portal and applicants submit a complete application package via the university's online scholarship platform for review by the university scholarship committee; results are notified by email.
