IRD ARTS Research Grants

The IRD ARTS Research Grants provide funding to support a PhD thesis carried out jointly between an IRD laboratory in France and a partner laboratory in the candidate's home country. The scheme targets PhD students from Africa and the Global South and facilitates a split doctorate with research stays both in France and locally. It supports research training and collaboration between IRD and host-country institutions.
