Participation in the 2025 OGP Africa and the Middle East Regional Meeting

The Youth Development Cohort invites applications from young leaders to participate in the Open Government Partnership Africa and the Middle East Regional Meeting, held in Nairobi, Kenya. The event provides an opportunity to engage with experts, policymakers and civil society leaders on open governance, transparency and accountability in the region. Participants will gain exposure to governance practices, share experiences, and build networks with other young leaders and organisations.

Participants will have their travel and attendance costs fully covered, can share their experiences with a regional and international audience, learn from experts in governance and youth engagement, build networks with other young leaders, and gain tools to strengthen their impact.

Young individuals aged 18 to 30 who are members of a YDC member organisation, based in an African country, and have an interest in promoting open governance and civic participation.
