Japanese JSPS Research Fellowship 2027-28

The Japanese JSPS Research Fellowship 2027-28 is a fully funded international fellowship that enables early-career, pre- and postdoctoral researchers from eligible ASEAN countries to conduct research in Japan for 1-12 months at leading institutes. The program supports researchers across all fields and covers airfare, a monthly stipend, and additional allowances. The fellowship focuses on fostering international collaboration and research activities in Japan.

Open to early-career, pre- and postdoctoral researchers from eligible ASEAN countries who have earned a doctoral degree within the past six years or are in a doctoral program expected to graduate within 2 years; Japanese citizens are not eligible.
