Task Group on Data Support for Climate Change Assessments

The Task Group on Data Support for Climate Change Assessments (TG-Data) invites nominations of experts to serve in the IPCC TG-Data, contributing to data provenance, climate data handling, and FAIR data principles. The group conducts work that supports IPCC data distribution and related climate assessment activities, with face-to-face meetings held annually. Nominees are expected to provide expertise in data systems and climate datasets, and organizations may assist with travel and subsistence for participation.

Travel and subsistence support for face-to-face meetings; involvement in IPCC data-related work and meetings.

Experts nominated by governments or observer organizations to serve on the TG-Data, with data-handling expertise.

Nominations via completed nomination form (Annex I) and the nominee’s current CV (not longer than four pages); selections made by the IPCC Bureau from government/observer nominations.
