EFFERVESCENCE Start-up Pitch Competition 2025

A start-up pitch competition in Canada that supports early-stage life sciences and health technologies startups. Finalists will present their pitches in Montreal to a panel of judges and an audience of investors, researchers, and industry members, with cash prizes awarded to winning teams. Finalists are grouped into Biopharmaceutical & Biotechnology and Medical Technology & Digital Health categories.

The applicant start-up must be incorporated and have its head office in Canada, be at an early stage of development, be based on an innovative product or service, demonstrate strong growth potential, and not have received a dilutive investment of more than CAD 3 million.
