Postdoctoral Researcher or Technical Staff I (26-1255)

A paid research/technical position within the Accelerator Group at the RIKEN Nishina Center for Accelerator-Based Science. The role involves research, development, operation and maintenance work to improve heavy-ion accelerator performance and participation in a commissioned project on production technology for useful radioisotopes. The appointment is a fixed-term employment contract with possible renewal and includes responsibilities in accelerator operation and maintenance.

The candidate should have a doctoral degree in a relevant field obtained within the last five years or be a prospective PhD who will obtain the degree before the first day of work. The successful candidate is expected to be able to communicate in Japanese for business purposes.
