ZOiS Fellowships

The ZOiS Fellowships are research fellowships in Berlin offered by the Center for East European and International Studies (ZOiS). They support researchers to conduct their own projects for 3 to 6 months in Berlin, working closely with German colleagues. The flagship themes include political sociology and migration, youth and identity in the Caucasus and Eastern Europe, conflicts, geopolitics and regional security, and economic and social transformations.

Monthly stipend, housing support, workspace, and travel reimbursement.

PhD holders in social, political or humanities disciplines; research project connected to the region (including Georgia and the South Caucasus).
