NWO-Talentprogramma Vici SGW 2025

The NWO-Talentprogramma Vici SGW 2025 is a competitive research grant call for senior researchers in the domain of social and behavioural sciences and humanities (SGW). It aims to support researchers in consolidating and further developing leadership and a research group. Grants support multi-year research projects with a maximum award of 1.5 million euro.

Researchers who obtained their PhD within the fifteen years prior to the reference date of the round (1 March 2025) may submit an application; extensions may be granted in certain cases. The call targets senior researchers with established leadership and mentoring qualities.

Two-step process: submit an English pre-proposal (voor-aanmelding); invited candidates submit a full proposal. Applications are submitted via the ISAAC electronic system; proposals are assessed by panels, referees provide advice and applicants may respond to referee comments.
