John Loiello AFSOAS FISHL Scholarship 2025-2026

The John Loiello AFSOAS FISHL Scholarship provides full tuition coverage and accommodation for a US student to pursue a full-time, one-year taught Master’s programme at SOAS in London. The scholarship is reestablished with support from International Student House and is aimed at American students applying to SOAS for a one-year Master’s degree. The accommodation is provided by ISH, and includes a standard single room with shared facilities and free weekend brunch.

Full tuition coverage; accommodation; meals (weekend brunch) as part of the ISH arrangement.

Applicants must have an unconditional or conditional offer to study a full-time, 1-year taught Master’s programme at SOAS by the scholarship panel stage, have not previously earned a Master’s degree, be ordinarily resident in the United States, have graduated from a US high school and completed an undergraduate degree at a US college or university, have an unweighted undergraduate GPA of at least 3.50, demonstrate financial need, and show clear intentions to give back to SOAS as a student and alum.
