The Avery Review Essay Prize 2025

The Avery Review Essay Prize is a competition inviting critical essays on architecture, open to current undergraduate and masters students as well as recent graduates. Submissions are eligible for substantial monetary prizes, publication in the June 2025 issue of The Avery Review, and professional development opportunities connected to architectural discourse.

Monetary prizes (First place $4,000; three second-place prizes $2,000 each), publication in the June 2025 issue of The Avery Review, academic and professional development, enhanced writing and networking opportunities.

Open to current undergraduate students, current masters-level students, and recent graduates from any field of study engaged with architecture.
