AFS Global STEM Academies 2025

The AFS Global STEM Academies 2025 combine digital and in-person learning, bringing together youth from 15 countries to enhance sustainability knowledge and STEM skills through an interactive, hands-on curriculum. The program includes a 12-week virtual learning phase followed by a 4-week immersive study abroad experience to one of four destinations, with a focus on global competencies and sustainability. Scholarships cover tuition, travel, insurance, housing, meals, and other program costs, with opportunities for community service and STEM-focused experiences.

Be a national or citizen of one of the specified countries; be 15-17.5 years old at program start; able to participate fully in English; interested in STEM and global competencies; willing to travel abroad unaccompanied to the four destinations; have access to digital devices and internet.
