IKY Excellence Award (Excellence Award)

The IKY Excellence Award is an honorary prize granted to the top graduating student of each Department of Greek higher education institutions for the academic year 2023-2024. The award comprises an honorary diploma in the form of a signed papyrus and a one-time cash prize of €1,000. It is intended to recognize academic excellence achieved during studies and is awarded provided the graduate has not exceeded the prescribed minimum duration of study. Department secretariats submit the required beneficiary data electronically to IKY via a specially configured platform.

One-time cash award of €1,000 deposited to the beneficiary's bank account.

First-year students enrolled in the 2024–2025 academic year who registered in a department with the highest Panhellenic Exam score in 2024 and who have not received another public monetary award or scholarship over €500 for the same reason.
