Manassakh Scholarships

The Manassakh Scholarships are competitive scholarships funded from the bequest of Maria Michail Manassaki to the University of Crete. Sixteen awards for the 2022-23 academic year are available, eight for postgraduate and doctoral students of the Medical School and eight for postgraduate and doctoral students of the School of Science and Technology. Each scholarship is for one year (1 October 2022 to 30 September 2023) and totals €5,000 per award, with the possibility of annual renewal up to four years.

Monetary award of €5,000 per scholarship (paid monthly approx. €416.66) for the scholarship year; possibility of renewal.

Postgraduate (master) and doctoral students of the University of Crete: specifically students of the Medical School and students of the School of Science and Technology; applicants must have Greek citizenship and be no older than 36 years.

Submit an application to the Secretariat of Postgraduate Studies of the Medical School or to the Department Secretariat of the relevant department of the School of Science and Technology within the stated deadline, including identity document, degree with grade, criminal record extract, a statutory declaration regarding other scholarships, and department-specific documents (CV, progress/report for doctoral candidates, transcripts, supervisor-endorsed reports where required).
