Where There Be Dragons: Gap Semester Programs

Where There Be Dragons Gap Semester Programs are immersive residential gap-semester programs that place small groups of students in international destinations for cultural immersion, language learning, apprenticeships, trekking, and community engagement. Programs run as semester-long or six-week sessions in multiple countries and may offer optional college credit. Sessions emphasize mentorship, responsible travel, homestays, and hands-on learning with professional instructors.

Immersive international travel and cultural immersion, homestays and local apprenticeships, mentorship from experienced instructors, optional college credit (for some programs), small group coaching and safety/risk management systems.

Programs are for students aged 18 and older (gap-year / post-secondary students).
