XC Creative Art Contest

The XC Creative Art Contest is an international competition for middle and high school students that encourages interdisciplinary creative work across art, science, literature, music and performance. Students may submit up to three original works across five categories including Science and Art, Music and Video Art, Literature and Art, Performance Art and Traditional Art. Entries are submitted digitally and evaluated by experienced professionals; winners receive cash prizes, medals, certificates, exhibition opportunities and personalized recommendation letters. Selected finalists and award recipients are invited to an in-person awards ceremony and exhibition in the Greater Boston area.

Cash awards (1st: $1,000 USD; 2nd–6th: $150 USD each), medals, digital certificates, personalized recommendation letters for top winners, exhibition of artwork at a Boston gallery, invitation to Awards Ceremony, possible invitation to MusicOn+ InterArts Festival in NYC, educator certificate for schools with multiple awardees.

Open to student creators in grades 6–12 (middle and high school students) worldwide.

Submit up to three original works digitally across permitted categories during the submission period; finalists will be notified after review and invited to advance (finalist fee applies).
