Women in Sourcing and Enterprise (WISE) Program

The Women in Sourcing and Enterprise (WISE) Program is a four-year, multi-country initiative by the Mastercard Foundation designed to increase access to work opportunities for young women facing financial barriers. The program focuses on making agrifood systems more inclusive through local sourcing and value addition for small- and medium-sized enterprises, creating reliable markets for regional trade, increasing access to agriculture finance, and building climate-resilient production systems. It includes activities and partnerships aimed at improving market linkages and workforce inclusion in agrifood sectors. The program includes country-level implementation, with the Foundation's first Agrifoods program in South Africa.
