Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Innovation Fellowships

The Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Innovation Fellowships provide support to doctoral students pursuing innovative dissertation research in the humanities and interpretive social sciences. The program supports projects that expand traditional dissertation forms through new methodologies, formats, or collaborations with partners inside and beyond the academy. Fellowships are intended to intervene at an early stage of dissertation development to provide time and support for practical, interdisciplinary, collaborative, critical, or methodological approaches.
