Professor Bryan Emmerson Medical Scholarship

The Professor Bryan Emmerson Medical Scholarship is a funded award at the University of Queensland for students enrolled full-time in year 1 of the Doctor of Medicine. It supports recipients experiencing financial hardship and is maintained by income from an endowed fund. The scholarship value is at least AUD 9,000 (limited to the annual income from the fund) and may be held for up to four years.

Monetary scholarship of at least $9,000 per year (limited to income from the fund); potential support for up to four years.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in year 1 of the Doctor of Medicine, demonstrate financial hardship, and not hold another scholarship the Dean considers similar.
