Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship Program – Fall 2025

The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship Program invites recent college and graduate school alumni to apply for full-time, six-to-nine month fellowships in Washington, DC to work with nonprofit, public-interest organizations addressing peace and security issues. Fellows will be selected to work with one of the twenty-six participating organizations, receiving office space, supervision, and guidance from the host organization, with opportunities to research, write, and organize in support of program goals. The program provides a salary, health insurance compensation, travel expenses to Washington, DC, and additional funding for professional development or language/policy courses.

Applicants must have received a bachelor’s or master’s degree within the past few years, have a strong interest in peace and security issues, and demonstrate excellent academic and communication skills. U.S. citizens living in the U.S. or overseas are eligible to apply; non-U.S. citizens may apply if they live in the U.S. and have a U.S. work visa for the duration of the fellowship.
