A.S. Hornby Educational Trust Scholarship 2025/2026

The A.S. Hornby Educational Trust Scholarship 2025/2026 offers Master’s degree scholarships to English language teaching professionals from eligible countries. Up to ten fully funded scholarships are available for the University of Exeter MEd TESOL programme for September 2025 entry. It aims to build capacity in English language teaching in low- and middle-income countries and to support professionals with relevant experience to impact the field in their home countries.

Fully funded Masters degree scholarship for the University of Exeter MEd TESOL programme.

Applicants must be nationals of and work in countries defined as Least Developed, Low Income, Lower Middle Income, or Upper Middle Income according to the OECD DAC list; have a minimum of three years’ full-time TESOL teaching or related experience after their first degree; hold an undergraduate degree (or relevant postgraduate degree); and apply to the University of Exeter for the MEd TESOL programme to receive an Exeter student number before applying for the Hornby Scholarship.

Apply to the University of Exeter for admission to the MEd TESOL programme, obtain an Exeter student number, then complete the Hornby Scholarship application form.
