Common Ground Program Opportunity & Innovation Grants 2026

The Common Ground Program Opportunity & Innovation Grants 2026 invites civil society organizations in the Western Balkans to apply for small grants to support peace, dialogue, and social cohesion initiatives. The program offers up to €4,500 per grant, with a total of 20 grants available in 2026. Applications are open and evaluators assess strategic fit, innovation, impact, and feasibility.

Funding up to €4,500 per grant; support for project activities to foster dialogue and social cohesion.

Open to civil society organizations working on peace, dialogue, and social cohesion in the Western Balkans registered in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia or Serbia. Informal organizations may apply in a coalition with a registered organization or with a fiscal host.

Submit an application with required documentation (registration documents, statute, staff list, and, for coalitions, a Memorandum of Understanding). Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis by EFB staff.
