Encounters Pre-Selection Panel of Film Readers 2024-2025

Open to individuals with a passion for non-fiction cinema to join the Encounters Pre-Selection Panel of Film Readers for the 2024-2025 edition. The role involves viewing and reviewing a selection of documentary films between November 2024 and March 2025 and participating in monthly meetings with the Encounters team to provide feedback. This is an unpaid volunteer position intended to support the festival's programming team and enhance the contributor's CV.

Gaining hands-on experience in film programming and curation, contributing to festival selections, and enhancing CV.

Open to passionate individuals with backgrounds in filmmaking, film studies, or criticism, and applicants from anywhere in Africa who are proficient in written and spoken English.
