WIPO Fellowship 2026

The WIPO Fellowship is a fully funded professional fellowship hosted by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland. Fellowship durations vary by category and can range from 12 to 36 months. Participants receive a stipend, travel support, insurance and access to professional development and WIPO Academy training programs.

Monthly stipend (CHF 3,000–8,000), round-trip airfare, visa assistance, comprehensive medical and accident insurance, paid annual leave, access to WIPO Academy training and professional development, opportunity for international UN agency work experience.

Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and meet the educational requirements for the selected fellowship vacancy; excellent written and spoken English and relevant academic qualifications or professional experience are required where specified. There is no age limit and the programme is open to young professionals, researchers and PhD holders as listed in individual vacancies.
