ECO-GT Summer School 2026: Engineering Communication for the Green Transition

The ECO-GT Summer School 2026 is an interdisciplinary training that integrates engineering students into project-based learning focused on communication as part of engineering practice for the green transition. Participants work on real-world case studies to analyze and design communication strategies for stakeholder engagement and project implementation. The programme includes collaborative, international and multidisciplinary teamwork and aims to develop communication competencies relevant to green technology projects. It is organised by the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) as the final summer school of the European ECO-GT Project.

Total course workload 96 hours; 28.8 contact hours; ECTS credit awarded (number not specified).

Undergraduate (licenciatura) and Master's (mestrado) engineering students in Electrotechnical, Civil and Mechanical areas, and students from environmental sciences and related courses.
