ERIA School of Government Fellowship 2026-2027

The ERIA School of Government Fellowship invites fellows to join a policy-focused research community based in Jakarta, addressing regional public policy challenges in ASEAN and East Asia. The fellowship runs from October 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027 and includes access to ERIA resources and networks, with opportunities to engage with policymakers and regional institutions.

Access to ERIA’s research resources and networks; opportunities to engage with policymakers, researchers, and regional institutions; collaboration opportunities with ERIA researchers and ASEAN stakeholders; monthly allowance during residency.

Candidates must hold a doctoral degree or higher, or have 10 years of service as a government official; proficiency in English; open to all nationalities with research interests addressing regional issues in ASEAN and East Asia; demonstrated policy-relevant experience in government, academia, think tanks, or international organizations.

Submit the Fellowship Application Form along with a CV (max three pages), a thesis summary for postgraduates or official approval for professionals, two letters of recommendation, a project proposal, and related research materials to sog@eria.org by the deadline.
