Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Smart Cities and Communities (SMACCs) 2027-2029

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) SMACCs is a two-year (120 ECTS) joint Master’s degree educating engineers and scientists in Smart Cities and Communities. The programme is delivered by a consortium of partner universities and benefits from funding under the Erasmus+ Action for Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (2023–2029). Selected applicants may receive EMJM scholarships that cover tuition, travel and living costs and include a monthly stipend. The programme includes mobility between partner universities and research/placement activities.

Tuition fee coverage, travel costs, living cost support with a monthly stipend (€1,400 for up to 24 months), opportunity to study at partner universities, access to a professional and academic network, research and placement activities.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences (examples listed include mechanical, chemical, electrical, civil, environmental, architectural, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science) or economics with an engineering background. Final-year undergraduate students may apply if they obtain their degree by September 15 of the enrollment year. Minimum B2 English (examples of accepted tests and scores are listed). Previous EMJM scholarship holders cannot apply again.
