University of Vienna PhD Autumn Call 2026

The University of Vienna PhD Autumn Call 2026 offers more than 10 fully funded doctoral (prae doc) positions across a broad range of disciplines. Positions are employment-based predoctoral contracts with structured doctoral programmes, supervision, opportunities for international collaboration and professional development. Typical duration is 3 to 4 years with 30 hours/week employment under Prae Doc employment models 1–3. Salary is according to the collective bargaining agreement (§48 VwGr. B1).
