AAZV Zoological Medicine & Wildlife Health Research Grant 2025

The AAZV Zoological Medicine & Wildlife Health Research Grant 2025 provides funding for research projects that advance zoo and wild animal health, welfare, and conservation. It supports investigators with proposals that disseminate findings via peer-reviewed publication and other outreach efforts. Two funding categories are available: standard grants and small grants, with a global reach including recognition for international collaborations.

Funding up to $20,000 (standard) or up to $7,500 (small); recognition through a potential global outreach designation for international collaborations.

Open to researchers working to enhance zoo and wild animal health, welfare, and conservation. At least one Principal Investigator must be an AAZV member in good standing.
