Training Initiative for Modelling Epidemic Response in Africa (TIMERA) Fellowship 2026–2029

The TIMERA Fellowship is an EDCTP3-funded programme to strengthen infectious disease modelling capacity among African public health professionals. It provides a 12-month blended learning experience with in-person training, remote mentoring and collaborative work across three cohorts during 2026–2029, aimed at improving epidemic preparedness and response in Africa.

A structured 12-month fellowship with blended learning, including face-to-face training blocks, remote mentoring, group work and workshops, plus opportunities to contribute to evidence-generation activities in epidemic modelling.
