Africa-China Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2027-2028

The Africa-China Post-Doctoral Fellowship is an 18-month research fellowship open to PhD holders and early- to mid-career scholars. The program supports research on Africa–China relations and related topics, with fellows in residence in the Washington, DC area for the duration. It is administered by Georgetown University and Howard University, with funding attached to the fellowship period.

Open to non-tenured and tenured PhDs; applicants should be early- and mid-career scholars with relevant research on Africa–China issues.
