UNDP Timbuktoo GreenTech Startup Accelerator Programme 2024/2025

The UNDP Timbuktoo GreenTech Startup Accelerator Programme is a cohort-based accelerator for African green tech startups. It focuses on technology-enabled solutions in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and related areas, providing mentorship, technical support, and access to funding and networks within the UN system and broader AfCFTA ecosystem. The programme aims to help startups grow and scale to address Africa’s energy challenges and SDGs.

Membership in the inaugural cohort, mentorship from industry experts, access to product development support, regulatory sandbox access in Kenya, networking with partners and investors, access to UN system and AfCFTA networks, and equity-free funding to support growth.

Founders must be nationals of an African country, the startup must be legally registered and operating in Africa, have been in operation for at least three years, address development challenges, be technology-enabled, have a minimum viable solution, and possess governance systems.
