Cell and Gene Therapy for Personalised Medicine

A targeted call for research proposals to develop and validate innovative cell and gene therapies for personalised medicine. Projects must employ somatic cell therapeutics, gene therapeutics, combined cell- and gene therapeutics, or novel biological products such as mRNA, other nucleic acid-based methods, and extracellular vesicles. Projects are to be carried out as interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral collaborations between partners including research institutions and undertakings (companies).

Project funding with industrial partners eligible for funding up to 50% of eligible project costs; collaborative project support between research institutions and industry.

Consortia of partners carrying out effective collaboration between research institutions and undertakings (companies). SME or other industrial partners may participate and are eligible for specific funding terms; all applicants and partners must comply with State Aid rules.
