Austrian Educational Assistance (Studienbeihilfe) for FH Salzburg students

The Austrian Educational Assistance (Studienbeihilfe) is a state programme that provides financial support to students pursuing bachelor's or master's studies in Austria. It offers a monthly allowance for living expenses, supplementary financial support based on income, and assistance to cover study-related fees. The scheme is assessed by the Austrian study grant authority based on the student's and their family's financial situation. Students must be enrolled in an eligible programme at the University of Applied Sciences Salzburg (FH Salzburg) and meet academic progression requirements.

Monthly living allowance; additional means-tested financial support; help covering study fees.

Students must be Austrian or equivalent under applicable legal status, demonstrate financial need based on parental or personal income, be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's programme at FH Salzburg, and meet required academic progression conditions.

Submit an application form and supporting documents (income proofs, enrollment certificate, identity/residence documents) via the official study grant authority portal or by post; applications are evaluated by the authority.
