The Joint ICTP-CCG Catalyst Facility Academic Writing Residency Program for Global South Scholars

The Joint ICTP-CCG Catalyst Facility Academic Writing Residency Program is a three-week residency for researchers from developing countries to complete a near-finished manuscript on climate-compatible growth, with dedicated writing time and mentorship at ICTP. Participants receive round-trip travel, ICTP guesthouse accommodation, daily subsistence allowance, and in-person mentorship, with optional journal submission support. The focus is on writing and publication, and residents are expected to produce a pre-print and ideally submit to a peer-reviewed journal during the stay.

Applicants must be nationals of ODA-eligible countries, affiliated with a university or research institution in an ODA country, and have a completed draft research paper aligned with one or more CCG research communities.
