AI and Intellectual Property in Africa (AIPA 2026) Workshop

The AI and Intellectual Property in Africa (AIPA 2026) workshop is an international, two-day event in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, focused on exploring how AI and IP frameworks affect responsible and inclusive innovation in Africa. It brings together researchers, AI developers, entrepreneurs, legal professionals, policymakers, and community advocates to discuss ownership, data sovereignty, and policy implications. Participation is open to professionals from research, technology, law, public policy, and civil society, with support provided to selected participants for travel and lodging.
