Understanding Europe is a European youth education network and capacity-building programme run by Schwarzkopf-Stiftung Junges Europa. It trains peers (aged 16–27) to design and deliver workshops on topics such as Europe, participation, media & journalism, social justice and climate justice in schools and other educational settings. The project includes an annual European Summer School to qualify trainers, biannual peer trainings, and supports 6–8 fellows each year to develop new educational formats.
