Premio José Adem a la Investigación Matemática en México

The Premio José Adem recognises outstanding mathematicians based in Mexico for significant contributions to the advancement of mathematics. The award is given to a single individual each cycle and includes a monetary prize, a commemorative medal, a certificate, and an invitation to deliver a plenary lecture at the Reunión Matemática 2026 of the Sociedad Matemática Mexicana. The prize is awarded on a biennial basis.

Nominees must be mathematicians working in Mexico who, at the closing date of the call, are under 45 years old for women and under 43 years old for men; their record must reflect exceptional contributions made in Mexico over at least the previous five years.

Nominations submitted electronically via the IMSA website; nominators must provide a letter of acceptance from the nominee, a two-page CV, a document (max seven pages) describing the nominee's work, and at least two letters of recommendation.
