Förderungspreise der Österreichischen Chemischen Gesellschaft (GÖCH)

The Förderungspreise of the Österreichische Chemische Gesellschaft (GÖCH), endowed by the Fachverband der Chemischen Industrie Österreichs (FCIO), are annual prizes for excellent diploma theses and dissertations in chemistry completed at an Austrian university. Up to eight awards are offered: five prizes of €1,000 for diploma/master theses and three prizes of €2,000 for dissertations/PhD theses. Eligible works must have been approved between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026 and awarded the grade "Sehr gut".

Monetary prizes: €1,000 per diploma/master thesis (five awards) and €2,000 per dissertation (three awards).

Diploma/master theses and dissertations authored by GÖCH-member students at an Austrian university, approved between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026 and graded "Sehr gut". Submitted works must not be under embargo.

Submit a PDF copy of the thesis, a supervisor's letter confirming the "Sehr gut" grade with a short summary, and proof of approval date (diploma/rigorosum certificate) preferably by email to office@goech.at; alternatively send a bound copy by post to Nibelungeng.11/6, 1010 Wien.
