Global South Scholarships for the Annual 2025 ÖMG–DMV Meeting

The Global South Scholarships fund mathematicians working in Low Income or Lower Middle Income countries to attend the Annual 2025 ÖMG–DMV Meeting. Two scholarships are offered to support travel to Linz, accommodation, a daily allowance for seven days and conference fee waiver. Applicants should be research-active mathematicians with a solid publication record and employed at an academic institution. The meeting takes place in Linz, Austria from 1 September to 5 September 2025.

Travel costs, accommodation, daily allowance for 7 days, visa and travel insurance up to a total of EUR 2200; conference fee waiver.

Research-active mathematicians employed at an academic institution in a Low Income or Lower Middle Income country, with a solid publication record, may apply. Applicants should explain their motivation to attend and name plenary speakers or sections of particular interest.

Send a detailed motivation letter (max 2 pages), a CV including list of publications, and names of two references by email to oemg-dmv-2025@jku.at by the deadline.
